Adventure Game Studio (AGS) is a free and open-source development tool designed for creating graphical point-and-click adventure games. It combines an integrated development environment (IDE) with a scripting language similar to C++, enabling both beginners and intermediate-level designers to create classic-style adventure games. Originally created in 1997 by Chris Jones, AGS has an active community and supports multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
